This landscape project was all about exploring possibilities in design and creative installation. With a deep focus on sustainability, the clients were looking for a wow factor packed with a purposeful punch of sustainability.

Working in the natural contours of the property in design and reflecting the naturalist bush aesthetic, we aimed at first using the water effectively on the property, creating rock creek beds throughout the property and completely
renovating the pond. Thoughtful and effective design produced the’ wow factor ‘to highlight entertaining spaces, direct water for better proper flow, and provide an incurable source of grown food.

We incorporated natural looking landscape materials and utilised endemic planting to encourage wildlife habitats in Chandler Pond and Edible Gardens.

Most importantly we had a deep focus on home grown food, designing a stunning and sophisticated veggie beds growing area. Which became a far greater statement than we even anticipated.

Railway Veggie Beds Area

Old world charm meets creativity with these repurposed railway sleepers, making super stylish garden beds. Sitting on gravel and with blue stone stepping pavers this garden area is a wonderful mix of formal and modern landscape design.

The centre point of the circle beds of feature tree blends wonderfully with the railway beds. From all angels in the back of the property these growing beds make a purposeful statement highlight our beautiful and functional home growing can be.

Pond

A standout in this landscape project was the the pond renovation, we redesigned and reshape an aquatics paradise drawing off natural pool designs in rock placement and plants to provide perfect environment for fresh water fish. The client have ing a natural infinity with nature, we are happy to report has found a chid like joy in catching and relaxes new fish into the pond.

Ponds help regulate outside temperatures in your landscape, they improve the overall aesthetics of your yard, and add value to your home.

They are an incredible source that will attract large amounts of wildlife and we are happy to report that the client has already spotted cranes drinking from the pond. Water itself releases negatively charged ions into the air which assists in eliminating free radicals while purifying the air of dust mites, germs, pollens allergens and pollutants.

Endemic Planting and Creek Beds

Shaping with the natural contours of the property, we shaped and installed rock creek beds throughout property to slow down water, and create effective drainage on the properly. Sourcing natural looking materials that would blend and work in with the naturalistic bush aesthetic.

Next, was large scale endemic planting using native tube stock plants of a mass scale to slow down eosin and provide habitat for wild life.

We used native plants throughout all the property in mass planting and and garden areas surrounding house and poo. Using varied height, textures and colours in plant design we have proved that native garden are not just absolutely beautiful but highly functional.
Native gardens create carbon sequestration and encourage insects and birds. You are essentially giving back nature when you plants them.

This landscape has been a great journey in discovering how thoughtful creative landscaping can make a huge impact.
